Slowly but surely, I am finalizing our selections for next year. This is a fun and nerve wrecking process to say the least. Excitedly, I anticipated the time when my oldest would be old enough to start understanding financial principals. He has finally reached that point and so next year we will begin Financial Peace Jr..
If you haven’t heard about Dave Ramsey and his Financial Peace University do yourself a favor and look him up. My husband and I took his class while I was pregnant with my second son. This class came into our life at just the right time. Four years later we are debt free and I share my story with anyone who is willing to listen. Fortunately my next audience will be my three boys. Who better to bestow knowledge about financial matters. Next year in addition to our other core studies the boys will be learning about spending, earning and saving. I’m so excited!

Way to go being debt free! It's a good feeling, isn't it? We're in the same mode - and hopefully we'll teach Princess Nagger and Little Dude the right way as they grow, too. ;)
