Merry Christmas from all of us here at Random Uttering. It’s a rainy day here, but we are expecting the rain to convert into snow later on. This might put a damper on our plans to visit with family later on today. I will not attempt to drive on ice, no way!
As you can see here Christopher is holding the Pajama Elves Urgent Delivery book. On Christmas eve the Pajama Elves delivered new Angry Bird Space pj’s for each boy.
Surprisingly, the boys did not want to bake cookies for Santa. We will have to have a talk about that. I’m sure Santa was looking forward to freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and milk last night. Before bed we read the Christmas story from Luke 2.
For dinner today I’ve prepared ham, sweet potatoes, greens, macaroni and cheese and we have peach cobbler and ice cream for dessert. I can’t wait to eat. We are missing hubby as he is Nigeria this holiday but are making the most of the time we have together. I am looking forward to a cozy warm day. In fact I’m going to prepare a round of hot chocolate for everyone now and see if I can read a few chapters in my library book.
