In addition I am a writer, dreamer, natural enthusiast, teacher, friend, daughter, non conformist who is adrift the current of life. I have tried my hand at many different things and believe the path I am currently on is the path that I was destined for all along. I created this blog for a variety of reasons, chiefly to develop my voice as a writer. I earned a B.S. in Journalism, so I know how to write. However as a journalist you are trained to keep your personal opinions out of the story and only report the facts who, what, when, where, how etc. I have an idea for a book that I have been working on in my spare time for over five years. I was hoping this blog would help me get all the thoughts in my head out and on paper so to speak.
Recently I have taken on a new challenge in my life. For a variety of reasons I am now homeschooling my children. I have a few entries on my blog on the topic but I have devoted an entire tab of my blog to this topic which you are free to check out.
